EAS Traffic definition

EAS Traffic means two-way traffic that falls within the definition of "EAS" that is exchanged between the Parties.
EAS Traffic means two-way Traffic that (i) falls within the definition of “EAS” as set forth in applicable tariffs of the ILEC and applicable regulatory rules and orders, (ii) that is exchanged between the Parties in accordance with this Agreement and (iii) that satisfies the definition of EAS set forth in Section 3.9 below. As of the date of this Agreement, no Traffic qualifies as EAS Traffic for purposes of this Agreement.

  • The applicable rates, terms and conditions for: (a) FX Traffic are set forth in Section 6.5.2 above; (b), Optional EAS Traffic are set forth in Section 6.6 below; (c) 8YY Traffic are set forth in Section 6.9 below; (d) FGA Traffic are set forth in Section 6.5.2 above; (e) IntraLATA Toll Traffic are set forth in Section 6.12 below; and/or (f) MCA Traffic are set forth in Section 6.7 below.

  • Optional EAS Traffic is local calling scope traffic that, under an optional rate package chosen by the End User Customer, terminates at a physical location outside of that End User Customer’s Local Calling Area or mandatory Extended Area Service (EAS).

  • The applicable rates, terms and conditions for: (a) FX Traffic are set forth in Section 6.4.2 above; (b), Optional EAS Traffic are set forth in Section 6.5 below; (c) 8YY Traffic are set forth in Section 6.8 below; (d) FGA Traffic are set forth in Section 6.4.2 above; (e) IntraLATA Toll Traffic are set forth in Section 6.11 below; and/or (f) MCA Traffic are set forth in Section 6.6 below.

  • For Section 251(b)(5) Traffic, ISP-Bound Traffic, Optional EAS Traffic, and IntraLATA Toll Traffic, the Party whose End User originates such traffic shall compensate the Party who terminates such traffic to its End User for the transport and termination of such traffic at the applicable rate(s) provided in this Appendix and Appendix Pricing and/or the applicable switched access tariffs.

  • SBC-13STATE will compensate the terminating carrier in accordance with this Appendix for Section 251(b)(5) Traffic, ISP-Bound Traffic, Optional EAS Traffic (also known as “Optional Calling Area Traffic”) and IntraLATA Toll Traffic that originates from an end user that is served by a carrier providing telecommunications services utilizing SBC-13STATE’s Resale Service.

  • Optional EAS Traffic is local calling scope traffic that, under an optional rate package chosen by the End User, terminates at a physical location outside of that End User’s Local Calling Area or mandatory Extended Area Service (EAS).

  • Where SS7 connections exist and the percentage of calls passed with CPN is greater than ninety percent (90%), all calls without CPN exchanged between the Parties will be billed as either Section 251(b)(5) Traffic, ISP-Bound Traffic, FX Traffic, Optional EAS Traffic, or intraLATA Toll Traffic in direct proportion to the minutes of use (MOU) of calls exchanged with CPN.

  • The Parties agree that all Local Traffic, EAS Traffic and ISP-Bound Traffic exchanged between them will be on trunks exclusively dedicated to such traffic.

  • In SBC CONNECTICUT, when CLEC purchases local switching from SBC CONNECTICUT on a wholesale basis to provide service to its end users, all Section 251(b)(5) Traffic, ISP-Bound Traffic, Optional EAS Traffic, and IntraLATA Toll Traffic originated by CLEC’s end users are not subject to intercarrier compensation as addressed in Section 4.7.3 below.

  • Optional EAS Traffic is local calling scope traffic that, under an optional rate package chosen by the End User Customer, terminates at a physical location outside of that End User Customer's Local Calling Area or mandatory Extended Area Service (EAS).

Related to EAS Traffic

  • Traffic lane or "lane" means that portion of a roadway designed or designated to accommodate the

  • InterLATA Traffic describes Telecommunications between a point located in a Local Access and Transport Area ("LATA") and a point located outside such area.

  • InterMTA Traffic is: (a) traffic originated by a CMRS end user of ALLTEL in an MTA and terminated to an end user of MATC in another MTA; and (b) traffic originated by an end user of MATC in one MTA and terminated to an end user of ALLTEL in another MTA.

  • National Road Traffic Act means the National Road Traffic Act, 1996 (Act 93 of 1996);

  • air traffic means all aircraft in flight or operating on the manoeuvring area of an aerodrome;

  • VNXX Traffic is all traffic originated by a Party’s End User Customer and dialed with a local dialing pattern that is not terminated to the other Party’s End User Customer physically located within the same CenturyLink Local Calling Area (as approved by the state Commission) as the originating caller, regardless of the NPA-NXX dialed. VNXX does not include originating 8XX traffic.

  • Traffic means pedestrians, ridden or herded animals, vehicles, streetcars, and other conveyances either singly or together while using any highway for purposes of travel.

  • Transit Traffic means traffic originating on CLEC’s network that is switched and transported by AT&T-TSP and delivered to a Third Party Terminating Carrier’s network or traffic from a Third Party Originating Carrier’s network. A call that is originated or terminated by a CLEC purchasing local switching pursuant to a commercial agreement with AT&T-TSP is not considered Transit Traffic for the purposes of this Attachment. Additionally Transit Traffic does not include traffic to/from IXCs.

  • Traffic control signal means a device, whether manually, electrically, or mechanically operated, by which traffic is alternately directed to stop and permitted to proceed.

  • international traffic means any transport by a ship or aircraft operated by an enterprise of a Contracting State, except when the ship or aircraft is operated solely between places in the other Contracting State;

  • 911 Trunk A trunk capable of transmitting a 9-1-1 dialed call to the Selective Router, and used for the single purpose of transmission of 9-1-1 calls in accordance with applicable NENA Standards. Access Service Request (ASR): The Ordering and Billing Forum document designated by CenturyLink to be used by the Parties to add, establish, change or disconnect services or trunks for the purpose of providing special access, Switched Access Services, and Interconnection. Access Services: Interstate and intrastate Switched Access Services, Special Access and/or Private Line services, as appropriate. Act or the Act: The Communications Act of 1934, as amended by the Telecommunications Act of 1996, and as amended from time to time and codified at 47 U.S.C. §§151, et seq. ACTL: Access Customer Terminal Location as defined by Telcordia.

  • 911 system means the set of network, database and customer premise equipment (CPE) components required to provide 911 service.

  • Transit Traffic MOUs means all Transit Traffic minutes of use to be billed at the Transit Traffic rate by AT&T-TSP.

  • air traffic control service means a service provided for the purpose of:

  • IntraLATA Toll Traffic means the IntraLATA traffic, regardless of the transport protocol method, between two locations within one LATA where one of the locations lies outside of the mandatory local calling area as defined by the Commission.

  • Local Traffic means traffic (excluding Commercial Mobile Radio Service “CMRS” traffic) that is originated and terminated within Embarq’s local calling area, or mandatory extended area service (EAS) area, as defined by the Commission or, if not defined by the Commission, then as defined in existing Embarq Tariffs. For this purpose, Local Traffic does not include any ISP-Bound Traffic.

  • Sex trafficking means the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act.

  • Levee system means a flood protection system which consists of a levee, or levees, and associated structures, such as closure and drainage devices, which are constructed and operated in accordance with sound engineering practices.

  • Trafficking means offering, attempting to engage, or

  • Alcohol abuse means any pattern of pathological use of alcohol that causes impairment in social or occupational functioning, or that produces physiological dependency evidenced by physical tolerance or by physical symptoms when it is withdrawn.

  • Gestational carrier means an adult woman who enters into an agreement to have an embryo implanted in her and bear the resulting child for intended parents, where the embryo is conceived by using the egg and sperm of the intended parents.

  • Gambling means that a person stakes or risks something of value upon the outcome of a contest of chance or a future contingent event not under the control or influence of the person, upon an agreement or understanding that the person or someone else will receive something of value in the event of a certain outcome.

  • distance education system means the system of imparting education through any means of communication, such as broadcasting, telecasting, correspondence courses, seminars, contact programmes or the combination of any two or more such means;

  • air traffic control unit means a generic term meaning variously, area control centre, approach control unit or aerodrome control tower;

  • Directory Assistance Database shall have the meaning set forth in Sections 10.5.2.2, 10.5.2.8, and 10.5.2.9.

  • National Ambient Air Quality Standards or “NAAQS” means national ambient air quality standards that are promulgated pursuant to Section 109 of the Act, 42 U.S.C. § 7409.
