EAS Tones definition

EAS Tones means any part of the four-part message used to activate an emergency alert, specifically: the Preamble and EAS Header Codes; Audio Attention Signal; message; and, Preamble and EAS End Of Message (EOM) Codes, as defined in Section 11.31 of the Rules, as well as any simulations thereof.
EAS Tones means any part of the four-part message used to activate an emergency alert, specifically: the Preamble and EAS Header Codes (collectively, EAS Header Codes); audio Attention Signal (Attention Signal); message; and Preamble and EAS End Of Message (EOM) Codes (collectively, EAS EOM Codes), as defined in
EAS Tones means the EAS codes consisting of audible sounds in which encoded information concerning the particular alert is embedded, and the separate EAS Attention Signal that follows the EAS codes composed of two tones that are transmitted simultaneously, as defined in Section 11.31 of the Rules, as well as any simulations thereof.

  • Soil texture means proportion by weight of sand, silt, and clay in a soil.

  • Furniture coating means any paint designed for application to room furnishings including, but not limited to, cabinets (kitchen, bath and vanity), tables, chairs, beds, and sofas.

  • Rotogravure coating means the application of a coating material to a substrate by means of a roll coating technique in which the pattern to be applied is recessed relative to the non-image area, and the coating material is picked up in these recessed areas and is transferred to the substrate.

  • Motorboat means the same as that term is defined in Section 73-18-2.

  • Spirits means any beverage which contains alcohol obtained by distillation mixed with drinkable water and other substances in solution, including, but not limited to, brandy, rum, whisky, and gin.
