Early Learning Centre definition

Early Learning Centre means a commercial establishment where the operator is authorized to provide tutoring or educational services to preschool children and school-age children. For greater certainty, this shall exclude daycare uses.
Early Learning Centre means the program that children attend prior to entering Reception at the School. Employee means an employee of the School who falls within the scope of Clause 5 of this Agreement (Coverage). Fair Work Act or Act means the Fair Work Act 2009 (Commonwealth) as amended from time to time. Fair Work Commission means the body established by section 575 of the Fair Work Act or any successor body. General Staff Award means the Educational Services (Schools) General Staff Award 2020. NES means the National Employment Standards in Part 2-2 of the Fair Work Act, as amended from time to time. Principal means the employee appointed by the School or delegate to the most senior leadership position in the School. School means Wilderness School Ltd School Days means the days on which Employees are normally expected to be at the School and the public holidays which occur other than in school vacation periods. School Year means the period of 12 months commencing on the day teachers are required to attend the School for the new education year, as determined by the School. Semester means either the first two terms of the School Year or the third and fourth terms of the School Year. Teachers’ Award means the Educational Services (Teachers) Award 2020. Term Weeks means the weeks in a year that students are required to attend school as set out in the school calendar. Total Remuneration means salary and any other emoluments payable directly or indirectly, whether in cash or kind, by the School to the Employee. For the purposes of this Agreement “Total Remuneration” does not include Employee superannuation benefits payable by the School in satisfaction of the Superannuation Guarantee Charge legislation.
Early Learning Centre means a not-for-profit approved education and care service which provides education and care to children including children younger than the minimum compulsory school age.

  • An account is in ‘good standing’ when Early Learning Centre fees are paid in full within 7 days of the account being issued.

  • When ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and Area Early Learning Centre closes due to weather conditions employees shall suffer no loss of regular pay.
