EAP Training definition

EAP Training. A representative from the city’s Employee Assistance Program (EAP) program was onsite December 11th and presented an overview of its program to the Public Works superintendents as part of their management training. The voluntary, work-based program offers free and confidential assessments, short-term counseling, referrals, and follow-up services to employees who have personal and/or work-related issues. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Water & Sewerage Authority: The Mayor, City Manager and a representative of ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Engineers met with ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ County Water & Sewerage Authority representatives to review the Intergovernmental Agreement regarding construction of the proposed wastewater treatment plant. The Authority is contributing $1.6M toward the construction cost in exchange for one-sixth ownership in the plant. Staff is reviewing the agreement for compliance with local and state mandates, which includes independent testing of the sewerage being sent to Hogansville for treatment. Street Signs: Public Works staff has been canvassing the city and addressing missing, damaged or faded street signs. Work includes eliminating the older round posts and replacing them with the square breakaway posts as outlined in state Department of Transportation guidelines.
