E-Hail definition

E-Hail means the use of any electronic device in any manner, including but not limited to internet site, email, text message, push notification, or application, for the connection of or communication between a passenger and a taxi Driver, or any agent thereof, irrespective of whether such communication is from a portable or handheld device, monitor, smartphone or other electronic device or unit, excluding telephone voice communication, to request taxi service.

E-Hail means any hail made by a passenger through an e-hail application.

Examples of E-Hail in a sentence

  • Participant shall provide the Commission machine-readable data generated by Participant’s E-Hail Application as required in the specifications set forth in Section VI(e) of the Agreement.

  • Participant must notify the TLC before making any modifications to the manner in which its TLC-authorized E-Hail App complies with Section VI of this Agreement and must not use the modified E-hail App in the Pilot until such modification has been approved by the TLC.

  • Participant must keep on file with the Commission a complete and up-to- date schedule of all fees, including the fee structure, charged to Licensees for the use of its E-Hail Application.

  • The Participant’s E-Hail Application must adhere to the following specifications and Participant must provide documentation to the TLC demonstrating how the E-Hail Application complies with the following specifications prior to offering Flex Fares through the E-Hail App.
