e-Banking Service definition

e-Banking Service means the services provided, from time to time, by the Bank to the Account Holder for the carrying out of financial and/or banking and other transactions and/or Instructions through the computer and/or by any other equipment required through the Internet and/or other equipment through which access is given to services as they shall be specified by the Bank from time to time. These services may include, inter-alia and without prejudice to the generality of this paragraph, the transfer of money to and from an account, the payment of bills, instructions for the issuance of a chequebook, instructions for standing orders or for the issuance of account statements, the filing of banking orders, inquiries regarding cards, instructions to stop the payment of cheques, inquiries regarding hire-purchase contracts, information regarding services and/or facilities provided by the Bank.
e-Banking Service means banking services which the Customer may access through Online Banking and/or Mobile Application. (p) “e-Standing Instruction” means an instruction given by the Accountholder to the Bank to make a periodical transfer/payment of a fixed amount to an account, a loan, bill or credit card by way of electronically debiting the Accountholder’s Account at a pre-determined basis. The transfer/payment can be set up as one off and/or a recurring transfer(s)/payment(s). (q) “Instruction” means instructions given by the Accountholder in respect of the Accountholder's Account(s) via the e-Banking Service. (r) “Internet” means a computer network consisting of a worldwide network of computer networks that use the TCP/IP network protocols to facilitate data transmission and exchange. (s) “Mobile Application” means PB engage, MyPB App and any other mobile banking application that the Bank may make available to the Customer from time to time, all of which are software applications that can be downloaded via Apple App Store, Google Play Store, Huawei AppGallery or any other mobile application stores that the Bank may include from time to time. (t) “Mobile Devices” means the mobile phone, smartphone, tablet or such other communication device which is used to access the e-Banking Service. (u) “Network Service Provider” means any Internet Service Provider (“ISP”) or any commercial online service provider or a licensed telecommunications services provider approved by the Bank providing connection to the Internet or providing the Customer with telecommunications and connectivity services necessary for the provisions of any applications in addition to its own proprietary network. (v) “New User” means the individual person who does not have an Account and has downloaded MyPB App and successfully registered as a user of MyPB App. (w) “Online Banking” means PBe, MyPB or any other online banking platform that the Bank may introduce from time to time, all of which enables the Accountholder to access to the online banking service offered by the Bank through the use of a Device upon the correct input of the Accountholder’s User ID and Password. (x) “OTP” means the 6-digit one-time password that is used to confirm and authorise credit card transactions effected via e-Banking Service by the Accountholder. The OTP will be sent via short message service (“SMS”) by a telecommunication company to the Accountholder’s mobile phone number registered with the Bank.
e-Banking Service or “E-Banking” means the electronic banking service available on the Website managed by the Bank and provided via Internet.

  • At the present time, you may use the Mobile eBanking Service to: ▪ Review account balance and transaction history for any of your accounts; ▪ Transfer funds between your savings, checking, or loan accounts; ▪ Make Bill payments, view or edit pending payments and payment history using the Bill Pay Service, and ▪ Use Secure Messaging service to send and receive secure communications with the Credit Union.
