Duty Week definition

Duty Week is defined as beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday and ending at 8:00 a.m. the following Wednesday. However, if Wednesday is a holiday, then the duty week begins and ends at 12:30 p.m.

Examples of Duty Week in a sentence

  • The Duty Week will commence at 5:00 p.m. Monday until 8:00 a.m. the following Monday.

  • The Duty Technician or substitute Duty Technician must call the Duty Supervisor's State home phone at the beginning of the Duty Week or substituted standby day(s) (on or before 1700 hours weekdays, or on or before 0800 hours weekends or holidays) and leave a message on the answering machine.

  • Probation Officers with a juvenile caseload assigned to Duty Week responsibilities shall receive 16% of their base rate of pay for each hour of standby on Saturday, Sunday and holidays.

  • Duty Week responsibilities shall be assigned pursuant to existing Department of Corrections policies and procedures.

  • The rotational list shall designate one investigator to be assigned to Duty Week in each investigative division (North/South).

  • The Duty Week for Fire Battalion Chief (Operations) is established by the assigned shift schedule and may either be 48 or 72 hours.

  • Duty Week Assignment- There shall be one Fire Investigator from the Northern Division and One Fire Investigator from the Southern Division assigned to each Duty Week.

  • One Fire Investigator from each Division: North, Central and South will be assigned to the Duty Week responsibilities.

  • The Investigator who is identified as the Duty Week Investigator may not refuse the assignment and must be available for response.

  • Juvenile Community Correctional Officers with a juvenile caseload and Correctional Investigators assigned by management to Duty Week responsibilities shall receive 16% of their base rate of pay for each hour of standby on Saturday, Sunday, holidays, and weather related closures.
