Duty Scheme definition

Duty Scheme or “Scheme” means a duty scheme operating under this Contract

  • Subject to Paragraph 6.32, to maintain Duty Scheme membership you must, at all times during the Contract Period, have at least one Duty Solicitor registered on each Duty Scheme you are a member of and provide Duty Solicitor services on that Scheme.

  • Duty Solicitors undertaking magistrates’ court Duty Solicitor work from an Office in the London CJS Area must join the Duty Scheme (as set out in the Duty Solicitor Postcode Tool) related to the London Borough in which that Office is situated.

  • Duty Solicitors undertaking Duty Solicitor work from an Office in the London CJS Area must join the Duty Scheme (as set out in the Duty Solicitor Postcode Tool) related to the London Borough in which that Office is situated.

  • Where you act for a Client under the Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme and subsequently open a Matter Start for that Client in relation to the same proceedings, you may include your time spent under the Housing Possession Court Duty Scheme within your Claim for the Legal Help Matter Start.

Related to Duty Scheme

  • Superannuation Scheme in this subclause, shall mean a scheme other than one implemented solely for purposes of compliance with Clause 49. - Superannuation of this award, or an Order of the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission.

  • Transfer Scheme means a transfer scheme made by the Secretary of State under Section 12 and Schedule 2 of the Railways Act 2005 (or equivalent statutory provision) pursuant to paragraph 3.1 of Schedule 15.4 (Provisions Applying on and after Termination), being substantially in the form of Appendix 1 (Form of Transfer Scheme) to Schedule 15.4 (Provisions Applying on and after Termination), but subject to such amendments as the Secretary of State may make thereto as a result of any change of Law affecting such transfer scheme or other change of circumstances between the date of the Franchise Agreement and the date on which such scheme is made;

  • Pension Scheme means a contract, an agreement, a trust deed or rules stipulating which retirement benefits are granted and under which conditions;

  • Schemes the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme available to Civil Servants and employees of bodies under Schedule 1 of the Superannuation Act 1972 (and eligible employees of other bodies admitted to participate under a determination under section 25 of the Public Service Pensions Act 2013), as governed by rules adopted by Parliament; the Partnership Pension Account and its (i) Ill health Benefits Scheme and (ii) Death Benefits Scheme; the Civil Service Additional Voluntary Contribution Scheme; and the Designated Stakeholder Pension Scheme and “alpha” introduced under The Public Service (Civil Servants and Others) Pensions Regulations 2014;

  • Deputy Minister means the Deputy Minister of the Ministry.

  • Cosmetologist means an individual licensed under this chapter to practice cosmetology.

  • Newco Scheme means a scheme of arrangement or analogous proceeding (“Scheme of Arrangement”) which effects the interposition of a limited liability company (“Newco”) between the Shareholders of the Issuer immediately prior to the Scheme of Arrangement (the “Existing Shareholders”) and the Issuer; provided that (i) only ordinary shares or units or equivalent of Newco or depositary or other receipts or certificates representing ordinary shares or units or equivalent of Newco are issued to Existing Shareholders; (ii) immediately after completion of the Scheme of Arrangement the only holders of ordinary shares, units or equivalent of Newco or, as the case may be, the only holders of depositary or other receipts or certificates representing ordinary shares or units or equivalent of Newco, are Existing Shareholders holding in the same proportions as immediately prior to completion of the Scheme of Arrangement; (iii) immediately after completion of the Scheme of Arrangement, Newco is (or one or more wholly-owned Subsidiaries of Newco are) the only shareholder of the Issuer; (iv) all Subsidiaries of the Issuer immediately prior to the Scheme of Arrangement (other than Newco, if Newco is then a Subsidiary of the Issuer) are Subsidiaries of the Issuer (or of Newco) immediately after completion of the Scheme of Arrangement; and (v) immediately after completion of the Scheme of Arrangement the Issuer (or Newco) holds, directly or indirectly, the same percentage of the ordinary share capital and equity share capital of those Subsidiaries as was held by the Issuer immediately prior to the Scheme of Arrangement;

  • Pension Schemes means the Nord Anglia Joint Pension Scheme, the Wyburn School Limited Pension Life Assurance Scheme (1985) and the Lifetime Pension Scheme, and “Pension Scheme” means any one of them.

  • Ombudsperson means the Ombudsperson of British Columbia;

  • Scheme means this Integration Scheme;

  • Exempt Newco Scheme means a Newco Scheme where, immediately after completion of the relevant Scheme of Arrangement, the ordinary shares or units or equivalent of Newco (or depositary or other receipts or certificates representing ordinary shares or units or equivalent of Newco) are (i) admitted to trading on the Relevant Stock Exchange or (ii) admitted to listing on such other Regulated Market as the Issuer or Newco may determine;

  • support scheme means any instrument, scheme or mechanism applied by a Member State, or a group of Member States, that promotes the use of energy from renewable sources by reducing the cost of that energy, increasing the price at which it can be sold, or increasing, by means of a renewable energy obligation or otherwise, the volume of such energy purchased, including but not restricted to, investment aid, tax exemptions or reductions, tax refunds, renewable energy obligation support schemes including those using green certificates, and direct price support schemes including feed-in tariffs and sliding or fixed premium payments;

  • Plagiarism means to take and present as one's own a material portion of the ideas or words of another or to present as one's own an idea or work derived from an existing source without full and proper credit to the source of the ideas, words, or works. Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to:

  • Scheme Rules means the applicable SEPA direct debit or credit transfer scheme rules of the European Payments Council as amended from time to time.

  • Neglected child means a child who has been subjected to neglect.

  • Scheme Consideration means, in respect of:

  • approved scheme means a share option scheme, other than a savings-related share option scheme, approved under Schedule 4.

  • Share Compensation Arrangement means any stock option, stock option plan, employee stock purchase plan or any other compensation or incentive mechanism involving the issuance or potential issuance of Shares, including a share purchase from treasury which is financially assisted by the Corporation by way of a loan, guarantee or otherwise;

  • Expatriate means an internationally recruited staff member, who is not a citizen or permanent resident of Samoa, and who resides in Samoa only by virtue of employment with SPREP.

  • Company Benefit Plan has the meaning specified in Section 4.13(a).

  • Non-Participating Clinical Social Worker means a Clinical Social Worker who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Israeli Companies Law means the Israeli Companies Law, 5759-1999, as amended, and the regulations promulgated thereunder.

  • superannuation benefits means pensions, gratuities and other allowances payable on resignation, retirement or death;

  • Company Benefit Plans has the meaning set forth in Section 3.16(a).

  • town planning scheme means the City of Rockingham Town Planning Scheme made under the Town Planning and Development Act 1928.

  • Stakeholder means a person who owns shares in the company and is actively involved in the management of the company or business and exercises control over the company.
