Duties and functions definition

Duties and functions means attending the regular full meetings of the state or national organization. A maximum of two (2) employees who are state or national officers may be granted time off under this section. Such officers will be required to maintain training and appropriate certifications at all times when taking time off under this section. Local, state and national union officers employed within the Fire Department will be allowed reasonable shift trades and work replacements beyond normal Fire Department guidelines.   • The Services means those services ancillary to the supply of the Goods, such as transportation and insurance, and any other incidental services, such as installation, commissioning, provision of technical assistance, training, and other such obligations of the Supplier covered under the Contract.

  • Service activities means activities in connection with the provision of personal, continuing services to shareholder accounts in the Shares; provided, however, that if the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. (“NASD”) adopts a definition of “service fee” for purposes of Section 2830(b)(9) of the NASD Conduct Rules or any successor provision that differs from the definition of “service activities” hereunder, or if the NASD adopts a related interpretive position intended to define the same concept, the definition of “service activities” in this paragraph shall be automatically amended, without further action of the parties, to conform to the then effective NASD definition. Overhead and other expenses related to “distribution activities” or “service activities,” including telephone and other communications expenses, may be included in the information regarding amounts expended for these activities.

  • Investor Relations Activities means any activities, by or on behalf of the Company or a shareholder of the Company, that promote or reasonably could be expected to promote the purchase or sale of securities of the Company, but does not include:

  • Task(s means one or more functions, if specified in the Contract Documents, to be performed by the Contractor for the State.

  • Material Duties means the duties generally required by employers in the national economy of those engaged in a particular occupation that cannot be reasonably modified or omitted. In no event will working an average of more than 40 hours per week be considered a Material Duty.

  • Governmental function means an activity that is expressly or impliedly mandated or authorized by constitution, statute, local charter or ordinance, or other law.   • Customer Responsibilities means the responsibilities of the Customer set out in paragraph 6.1 of the Order Form;

  • Medical Affairs Activities means, with respect to any country or other jurisdiction in the Territory, the coordination of medical information requests and field based medical scientific liaisons with respect to Licensed Compounds or Licensed Products, including activities of medical scientific liaisons and the provision of medical information services with respect to a Licensed Compound or Licensed Product.

  • Services Requirements means the requirements of the Authority or any other Contracting Body (as appropriate) for the Services from time to time;

  • Economic activities shall in principle include activities of an industrial, commercial and professional character and activities of craftsmen;
