DURSA definition

DURSA means the data use agreement entered into by HealtheConnections as a requirement for participation in the eHealth Exchange.
DURSA means the legal, multi-party trust agreement that is entered into voluntarily by entities, organizations, and Federal agencies that desire to engage in electronic health information exchange with each other using an agreed upon set of national standards, services, and policies developed in coordination with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Organizations that provide HIE services, like Contexture, must join in the DURSA before they can participate in the public-private partnership maintained and operated eHealth Exchange.

Examples of DURSA in a sentence

  • The terms and provisions of the DURSA remain in full force and effect in all respects.

  • From the date hereof, the New Participant shall be a “Participant” as that term is defined in the DURSA and shall be subject to all of the duties and obligations and entitled to the rights and benefits of a “Participant” as provided therein.

  • The New Participant hereby acknowledges that it has received and reviewed a copy of the DURSA.

  • The New Participant is hereby made a party to the DURSA, and agrees to be bound by, and shall comply with, the terms thereof.

  • Message Content is excluded from the definition of Confidential Participant Information because other provisions of the DURSA address the appropriate protections for Message Content.

  • As a result, the DURSA is not intended to serve as a Business Associate Agreement among the Participants.

  • Participant represents and warrants that it is a signatory to the DURSA.

  • When the P3N is connected to the eHealth Exchange, CPs that wish to utilize the P3N connectivity to the eHealth Exchange will enter into a Data Use and Reciprocal Support Agreement (DURSA) with PA eHealth which is a restatement of the multiparty legal agreement that established a trust framework between the participants of the nationwide eHealth Exchange.

  • To the extent that the Participants do respond to requests of the Subcommittee by producing documents, Participants shall have the ability to mark the documents produced as “Confidential Participant Information” and the Subcommittee shall treat those documents in accordance with Section 16 of the DURSA.
