• The PIU shall be headed by a Project Director who shall be accountable to the Director General, DSHE.

• The Borrower shall ensure the continuity of the implementation of activities in the MOE agencies, DSHE, and upazila, district and zone offices initiated by SESIP between the completion of SESIP and the Effective Date.

• The proposals shall be prepared by DICCs, in consultation with the community and NGOs. The proposals shall be sent to DSHE and the PIU for review and approval.

• The Cooperation Agreement shall specify the purposes, major activities and expected duties to be carried out by DSHE and the Project School and the eligibility criteria for participating under the Project.

• The PIU on behalf of DSHE shall enter into a Cooperation Agreement with each Project school in the Project Area satisfactory to the Association.
