Dry Utilities definition

Dry Utilities means electricity, natural gas, cable and telephone.
Dry Utilities. A-E shall identify the service locations for electrical and make preliminary inquiries regarding relocation of existing utility lines as needed.  Water Facilities: A-E shall identify existing water facilities that serve the project area and obtain fire flow data.  Drainage: A-E shall review existing documents, if available, pertaining to existing site drainage. A-E shall identify existing facilities that serve the proposed project drainage areas. The drainage improvements associated with previous expansion activities will be evaluated for suitability for this expansion.  A-E shall coordinate one (1) day of potholing of existing utilities that may be deemed to be in conflict with the proposed construction. The cost of the coordination and survey work is not included in this proposal. The actual cost for the potholing excavation and restoration work will be performed by others and paid for under separate contract with JWA. Demolition Plan  A-E shall prepare one (1) set of on-site demolition plans for the existing / proposed on-site improvements to be removed, abandoned, relocated, and / or protected in place within the proposed project site limits. A-E shall identify the existing / proposed utilities that shall be protected in place. Precise Grading, Drainage, and Over-Excavation Plans  A-E shall prepare one (1) set of precise grading, over-excavation and drainage plans and typical cross-sections for the proposed project, including title sheet and plan sheets. The precise grading and drainage plans will be in conformance with the approved site plan, the architectural plans, the soils report, ADA requirements, and the requirements of the local governing agency Grading Ordinance. The precise grading and drainage plans will illustrate the design of proposed building pad, finished floor elevations, curbs, gutters, pavement areas, walkways (grades only – no architectural treatments), landscape areas, BMP facilities, and surface drainage devices. The precise grading and drainage plans shall specify the alignment, grade and cross-sections of pavement areas within the project limits.  A-E shall grade the site to the proposed building configuration and door locations shown on the approved site plan. Architectural treatments and ornamental designs on the civil plans are excluded. Examples of Dry Utilities in a sentence

  • Developer shall obtain all proper conveyances and arrangements for the installation and provision of the Dry Utilities to serve the Development.

  • Unless otherwise agreed by the Town and Developer: (1) the Public Improvements shall be owned, operated and maintained by the Town; (2) the Private Improvements shall be owned, operated and maintained by the Developer, the homeowner’s association or a metropolitan district; and (3) the Dry Utilities shall be owned, operated and maintained, as appropriate and otherwise authorized, by the Developer, the homeowner’s association, a metropolitan or special district or the appropriate public utility company.

  • The Company shall furnish to the District a certificate or certificates of insurance substantiating that it has obtained for the entire period of the construction of the Project Facilities and the Privately-Owned Dry Utilities a policy of comprehensive general liability insurance with coverage broad enough to include the Company’s contractual obligations under this section and having a combined single limit of liability in the amount of $2,000,000.
