To enhance economic operation, BWP is also exploring the incorporation of an Automatic Dispatch Function (ADF), within the OATI webDistribute product, to enable determination of Economic Base Points and Participation Factors for AGC-controllable resources as well as DR/DER resources, while taking into account contractual and market- based transactions, and non-controllable generation resources (including the wind generation outside BWP territory).
To be more precise, SCADA/PMS will consider DR/DER as a virtual power entity which can be controlled.
