The purpose of this agreement is to outline the expectations and limitations of, for eligible reimbursements and requirements for disaster deployment under the ICVS’ Disaster Response Cooperative Agreement (DRCA) with the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS) or direct deployments initiated from Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEMD).
DRT programs with a CNCS DRCA in place will be requested for deployment based on the following: • Proximity to the disaster area: Ideally, resources closest to the location of the disaster are deployed, assuming those programs are not affected by the disaster.
To be approved for a DRCA, an organization must establish that they: • Are currently sponsored by CNCS, as an AmeriCorps State and National grantee, sub- grantee, site of a State and National program, or Senior Corps sponsor, or Professional Corps or other “non- traditional” CNCS grantee.
The DRCA application is designed to capture information for each type of organization and help CNCS match the resources of each program to the identified community need.
Alternatively, Buyers may, in their sole discretion, accept assignment to Buyers by Occupational Medicine Associates of Houston, P.A., a Texas professional association and an affiliate of DRCA ("OMAH"), of employment agreements between OMAH and all or any number of such persons.
