Drainage management definition
Drainage management means the planning for and handling of surface water runoff so as to mini- mize its adverse impacts upon the public health, safety, and welfare; upon property, public or pri- vate; upon local economy and aesthetics. A “drain- age management utility” is a body of ordinances, policies, practices and capital improvements by which this aim is accomplished.
