DP Incident definition

DP Incident means any incident, regardless of size and scope, where Personal Data, in manual or electronic form, which was disclosed by AIB and/or its Affiliates to the Supplier, or obtained or accessed by the Supplier in the course of the provision of the Deliverables or otherwise, has been or could have been put at risk of unauthorised access, disclosure, loss, destruction or alteration;
DP Incident means any incident, regardless of size and scope, where Personal Data, in manual or electronic form, which was properly disclosed by the Customer to Syntec, or obtained or accessed by Syntec in the course of the provision of the Services, has been put at risk of unauthorised disclosure or alteration. EEA shall mean the European Economic Area, comprised of the European Union, Iceland, Norway and Lichtenstein, and the United Kingdom in the event that it has left the European Union but is to be treated as a member of the EEA for the purposes of the GDPR. EEA Data shall have the meaning set out in the GDPR and shall apply to information relating to an identified or identifiable person located in the EEA, or whose information is Processed in the EEA in connection with Syntec’s performance of the Services. EEA Law shall mean any EU member state or union law, statute, declaration, decree, directive, legislative enactment, order, ordinance, regulation, rule or other binding restriction (including any and all legislative and/or regulatory amendments or successors), to which Syntec is subject, including, without limitation, the GDPR. Major Fault means a degradation to a Service that impacts (but does not prevent) a Customer’s business process, or a total or material loss of a non-critical component of the Service where the end user(s) cannot perform any useful work on that non-critical component.

  • Unusual Incident means those incidents involving serious illness or accidents, death of an individual, injury or illness of an individual requiring inpatient or emergency hospitalization, suicide attempts, a fire requiring the services of a fire department, or any incident requiring abuse investigation.

A critical incident may involve multiple individuals or results.
