Door sign definition

Door sign means any sign, picture, symbol, or combination thereof that is placed on, painted, or affixed to a door.
Door sign means a sign placed inside or upon the door and is visible from the exterior of the building. Door signs may only contain the names, logos, contact information, and hours of the businesses or tenants located within the building.

  • Fascia Sign means a sign attached to, marked or inscribed on, erected or placed against a wall forming part of a building, or supported by or through a wall of a building and having the exposed face thereof on a plane approximately parallel to the plane of such wall and includes a painted wall sign and an awning sign. A fascia sign shall not include any other sign defined in this By-law unless otherwise stated;

  • Monument sign means a low-profile sign which is incorporated into the landscape or architectural design scheme where the sign is located.

  • Window sign means a sign posted, painted, placed or affixed in or on a window exposed to public view, and shall include an interior sign that faces a window exposed to public view and located within 1 metre of a window; (0240-2007)

  • Banner Sign means a temporary sign of lightweight fabric, plastic or similar material;

  • Canopy sign means any sign that is part of or attached to an awning, canopy, or other material, or structural protective cover over a door, entrance, window, or outdoor service area.
