Dolomite means calcium magnesium carbonate, CaMg (CO3)2, occurring in crystals and in masses.
Dolomite means a sedimentary rock composed primarily of the crystalline carbonate mineral dolomite, CaMg (CO3)2. Many limestones contain small amounts of dolomite; however, the term dolomite is reserved for rocks which contain fifteen (15) percent or more magnesium carbonate.
