Document reference number definition

Document reference number means the unique number on a bill of lading, Government Bill of Lading, Government Transportation Request, or transportation ticket, used to track the movement of shipments and individuals.
Document reference number means a unique identification number assigned to a cheque for the purpose of presentment by electronic means; and
Document reference number. All Program Orders must include a document reference number (e.g. purchase order number). Accounts Payable departments will not pay invoices without having a reference number.
