To ensure collaboration from the AE/CAPs, GLEE organizes a joint supervision with the DNEF twice a year, which not only reinforces the partnership, but also builds trust of communities about the Government of Mali’s (GOMs) adherence to GLEE objectives.
GLEE adapted teacher training manuals in collaboration with the Direction Nationale de la Pédagogie (DNP)and the Direction Nationale de l’Enseignement Fondamental (DNEF) the fit in the gaps of Gender Based Violence (GBV) adolescent girl’ sensitive themes and also designed and extracurricular mentoring guide which supports girls in their communities.
GLEE conducted a joint supervision mission of ▇▇▇▇▇ and Mopti, composed of the DNEF, GLEE team, and the AE/CAPs. The visit aimed to observe the project’s actions and encourage the communities to support girls’ education.
The DNEF participated to the joint supervision in Bandiagara from the 21 to the 27 March 2021 for the 2020-2021 school year.
The event was attended by the SCOFI Division Chief from DNEF, AE/CAPs, representatives from the local Bureau of Women and Family, and GLEE community partners, and was shared on National TV.
These activities were conducted with the participation of national and local authorities including the Deputy Director, the SCOFI Chief of Division of DNEF, the representative of the Governor of Kayes, and the National Directorate for Women Promotion (DNPF) in Mali.
