Division Faculty definition

Division Faculty or “Faculty of any Division” means those Unit Members regularly assigned within a division.

Examples of Division Faculty in a sentence

  • Each Division, Faculty and School must specify the type and weighting of the evidence to be assessed and applied in each category.

  • Within any Division, Faculty or School, no less than 60% of the total number of credit courses offered under the bargaining unit certification shall be delivered by faculty tenure-track or tenured appointments.

  • Each Division, Faculty and School shall use the following definitions and guidelines when developing department or discipline specific standards to meet the criteria for academic designation, promotion and tenure.

  • If the member does not appeal the decision, the Senate Tenure and Promotion Committee shall make its recommendation known in a letter to the President with copies to the member, the chair of the Division, Faculty or School Promotion and Tenure Committee and the Faculty Association.

  • No Faculty Member shall be a member of both the Division, Faculty or School Promotion and Tenure Committee and the Senate Promotion and Tenure Committee.

  • The Division Faculty may recommend in plenary session (Division Meeting) any variation of numbers or means of attaining membership that will ensure effective representation on the Committee.

  • Where there are not three (3) OLFMs who meet this description, a non-OLFM representative who is a subject matter expert or in a cognate department within the same Division, Faculty or School may be appointed.
