diving doctor means a medical doctor who is licensed and registered to practise in a province, who has completed a diving medical course acceptable to the Chief Safety Officer and who has been accepted in writing by the Chief Safety Officer to certify divers for the purposes of paragraph 52(b), but who has not been accepted by the Chief Safety Officer to provide medical assistance under pressures greater than atmospheric pressure.
