District’s System definition

District’s System means the systems for the distribution of Water and the collection and transportation of waste, and any extensions thereof and additions thereto, to be constructed to serve the District, including those lines and facilities necessary for the transportation and distribution of Water from the point of interconnection with the City’s System throughout the District’s System and the transportation of waste from dwellings and buildings connected to the District’s System to the point of interconnection with the City’s System.
District’s System or “District’s Interceptor System” means the District’s sewage disposal system and includes anyone or all or any combination of the following: Any sewage treatment plant, sewage treatment works, sewage disposal facilities, connections and outfalls, intercepting sewers, outfall sewers, force mains, conduits, pipelines, water lines, pumping and ventilating plants or stations, compensating reservoirs, other plants, structures, facilities, equipment, and appurtenances useful or convenient for the interception, transportation, treatment, purification or disposal of sewage, liquid wastes, solid wastes, night soil, and industrial wastes along with all necessary lands, interest in lands, easements and water rights.

Examples of District’s System in a sentence

  • The District shall provide the City with reports from trench backfill density tests performed in conjunction with construction related to the District’s System within thirty (30) days of written request of same.

  • Any damages done to the District’s System or to the property of the District or third parties during the course of the City’s sampling under this Subsection 3(h) will be immediately and fully repaired or replaced by the City.

  • The City will give written notice to the District of any future ordinance changes governing the pretreatment, monitoring, or discharge of wastewater containing industrial waste or other prohibited waste, and those changes will become applicable to wastewater discharges into the District’s System that ultimately discharge into the City’s System sixty (60) days after the delivery of the notice to the District.

  • The District agrees to pay costs of such analyses of the District’s System not refunded by the state or federal government to the City, within thirty (30) days of receipt of an invoice for the same.

  • Other electronic devices and or items not essential to the educational process should not be brought to school.

  • Any damages done to the District’s System or to the property of the District or third parties during the course of City sampling under this Subsection 4(h) will be immediately and fully repaired or replaced by the City.

  • Therefore, the District will pay for all wastewater entering the City’s System from the District’s System, including infiltration and inflow, at the Wholesale Rates.

  • The City will give written notice to the District of any future ordinance changes governing the pretreatment, monitoring, or discharge of wastewater containing industrial waste or other prohibited waste, and those changes will become applicable to wastewater discharges into the District’s System that ultimately discharge into the City’s System sixty (60) days after the delivery of the notice to District.

  • In addition, the District agrees to pay within thirty (30) days of receipt of an invoice the unrefunded costs of any remedial measures necessary to improve the District’s System in order to comply with state or federal requirements and agrees to see that such remedial measures are timely taken.

  • The District agrees to establish and maintain rates sufficient to pay all costs and expenses of operation and maintenance of the District’s System.
