Distribution Extension definition

Distribution Extension means the distribution facilities including primary and secondary distribution lines, transformers, service laterals, and all appurtenant facilities necessary to supply service.
Distribution Extension means an extension or upgrade of the Distribution System, not including the installation of a Service Connection or an Energy Transfer Station, for the provision of Energy Services to Customer(s).
Distribution Extension means any construction of distribution facilities, including high and low pressure distribution pipes, service lines and laterals, and all appurtenant facilities excepting meters and meter installation facilities necessary to supply service to additional customers.

Examples of Distribution Extension in a sentence

  • The Distribution Extension will be deemed to be economic and constructed if the results of the economic test indicate a zero or positive net present value.

  • The economic test will be a discounted cash flow analysis of the projected revenue and costs associated with the Distribution Extension.

  • In those situations where the financial viability of a Distribution Extension is uncertain, the Utility may require a security deposit in cash or an equivalent form acceptable to the Utility.

  • The Customer acknowledges the following terms and conditions which will apply to the Utility’s determination of whether or not to complete a Distribution Extension in order to assess the economic impact of such Distribution Extension on existing Customers.

  • If the economic test results indicate a negative net present value, the Distribution Extension may proceed provided that the shortfall in revenue is eliminated by contributions in aid of construction by or on behalf of Customers to be served by the Distribution Extension, or if there are non-financial factors offsetting the revenue shortfall that are deemed to be acceptable by the British Columbia Utilities Commission, the Utility may finance the contributions in aid of construction for Customers.

  • Customer shall be required to fund any necessary distribution and transmission extensions as required under the Company’s Transmission Line Extension Policy and Distribution Extension Policy as provided in the Company’s Electric Tariff.

  • There is an option to purchase the Student Distribution Extension which allows students to access Maple personal computers using a thin client network (e.g. Citrix) or using remote access software (e.g. PCAnywhere).

  • Customer further acknowledges that any line extensions, distribution modifications, or other equipment necessary for Xcel Energy to install the Resiliency Service Assets and Customer’s financial obligations are subject to Xcel Energy’s Distribution Extension Policy as set forth in its Colorado electric tariff.

  • Customer further acknowledges that the line extension necessary for Xcel Energy to install the EV Supply Infrastructure and Customer’s financial obligations in connection with the line extension are subject to Xcel Energy’s Distribution Extension Policy as set forth in Xcel Energy’s New Mexico electric tariff.
