Dishonored definition

Dishonored. Any check or item that is returned unpaid by the bank on which it was drawn.
Dishonored means, in addition to the meanings set forth in RSA 544-B:1, 1, a stop payment order issued without cause.

Examples of Dishonored in a sentence

  • Dishonored checks and any checks received late in the mail will be treated as late payments.

  • Dishonored check(s) are any checks that are dishonored or not paid upon presentment for any reason, or any electronic payments not paid or credited for any reason.

  • If a check, automated withdrawal, or other payment by a Purchaser is not honored or not paid in full by the applicable bank or other entity (including stop payments), the payment will be treated as a dishonored payment and subject to a Dishonored Payment Fee (see Program Fee Chart).

  • Upon the event of a Dishonored Payment, Broker has the right to require Tenant to pay all future Charges by certified funds.
