Disaster Event definition

Disaster Event means an event or occurrence, including, but not limited to, wildfires, storms, floods, fires, tornados, earthquakes, train derailments, airplane crashes, and similar events determined by the City Manager to have caused widespread damage and destruction to personal property.
Disaster Event. A situation as determined by Client that requires the use of Disaster Recovery Services served from the Local Appliance or Cloud Core.

  • If City elects to use the services of Contractor to collect these additional materials resulting from the Disaster Event, City shall grant Contractor variances in routes and Exhibits, as deemed necessary.

More Definitions of Disaster Event

Disaster Event means an imminent or occurring disaster situation, caused by: (a) a cyclone, flood, tidal waves, tsunami, earthquake, volcanic eruption, drought, or any other natural hazard; or (b) an epidemic, pandemic, or other public health emergency, that requires the Recipient to promptly mobilize its capacity and/or financial resources, but excluding any disaster situation caused by human induced hazard.
