Disability Support Worker definition

Disability Support Worker means a person appointed to the position of Disability Support Worker who is employed to assist and support clients in group homes, centre-based respite units and in-home support services.
Disability Support Worker means an employee engaged to provide support to clients of the employer.

  • Residential Support Workers Level 1 Year 3 with less than 12 months service at this rate of pay will transition on their existing salary to the Disability Support Worker salary range, retain their existing incremental date and progress to the maximum rate of pay for Disability Support Worker subject to satisfactory conduct and services.

  • Residential Support Worker Level 1 Year 1 and Year 2 will transition on their existing salary to the Disability Support Worker salary range, retain their existing incremental date and progress to the maximum rate of pay for Disability Support Worker subject to satisfactory conduct and services.

Related to Disability Support Worker

  • Disability Support Pension means the Commonwealth pension scheme to provide income security for persons with a disability as provided under the Social Security Act 1991, as amended from time to time, or any successor to that scheme.
