Disability status, definition

Disability status,. “disability,” or “disablement” means being eligible for and receiving 2 disability benefits from the D&S Plan.
Disability status,. “disability” or “disablement” means being eligible for and receiving disability benefits from the D&S Plan. Exception: This definition does not apply to a NWA disabled pilot.
Disability status, means that a Leave of Absence has continued for 52 weeks and is due to a Disability. The determination as to whether a Participant is on a Disability Status after the 52-week Leave of Absence has expired shall be made by the Committee (or its representative).

Examples of Disability status, in a sentence

  • If the Employee is not then covered by the Company’s disability insurance program, the Employee’s Disability status shall be determined using the same criteria and by the same persons as provided in the Company’s disability insurance program, in consultation with the Committee as needed.

  • In addition to having the right to review documents and submit comments as described in (i) above, a Claimant whose claim for Disability benefits requires an independent determination by the Bank of the Executive’s Disability status has at least one hundred eighty (180) days following receipt of a notification of an adverse benefit determination within which to request a review of the initial determination.

  • Any changes in employment status, including voluntary or involuntary job loss, the commencement of a new job, or a change in Disability status, must be reported to Funder as soon as the Student becomes aware of the change.

  • In addition, in the case of a denial of Disability benefits on the basis of the Bank’s independent determination of the Executive’s Disability status, the Bank will provide a copy of any rule, guideline, protocol, or other similar criterion relied upon in making the adverse determination (or a statement that the same will be provided upon request by the Claimant and without charge).

  • The prorated bonus amount shall be paid in a lump sum within thirty (30) days following the date of the Employee’s death or determination of Disability status, as applicable.

  • Disability status may be reviewed year-to-year by the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ and the Personnel Board of the Diocese and professional assessment may be sought to assist the ▇▇▇▇▇▇ in such a determination.

  • Except for claims requiring an independent determination of an Executive’s Disability status, a request for review of a denied claim must be made in writing to the Bank within sixty (60) days after receiving notice of denial.

  • In the case of a benefits claim that requires a determination by the Bank of an Executive’s Disability status, the Bank will notify the Claimant of the Bank’s adverse benefit determination within a reasonable period of time, but not later than forty-five (45) days after receipt of the claim.

  • Disability status under this Agreement will be consistent with the disability and leave procedures promulgated from time to time by the Company.

  • If not still employed at the time, the Executive’s Disability status shall be determined using the same criteria and by the same persons as provided in the Company’s disability insurance program, in consultation with the Committee as needed.
