Direct Material definition

Direct Material means the materials directly used in the manufacturing process of the Licensed Products, including, without limitation, packaging, consumables, active substances and raw materials directly used in manufacturing the Licensed Product(s). Direct Material shall include the QMT Compound when the Licensed Product is an Active, but shall not include QMT Compound when the Licensed Product is the QMT Compound.
Direct Material shall refer to all material used to produce the finished product, including, cans, lids, salt, spring water, hydrolyzed protein, printed labels, and cartons, including reject allowance, but excluding the frozen Raw Material. Unless otherwise specified it shall specifically refer to the unit cost of one case of Finished Product.
Direct Material means those materials which are not encompassed by the definition ofIndirect Materials.’

Examples of technical information include research and engineering data, engineering drawings, and associated lists, specifications, standards, process sheets, manuals, technical reports, technical orders, catalog-item identifications, data sets, studies and analyses and related information, and computer software executable code and source code.
