Direct Access Service definition

Direct Access Service means the service provided by PG&E pursuant to Electric Rule 22 of PG&E’s Tariff which allows any end-use PG&E customer to elect to procure its electricity, and any other CPUC-authorized energy services, directly from non-utility entities known as electric service providers (as defined in Electric Rule 1 of PG&E’s Tariff).

Examples of Direct Access Service in a sentence

  • For those customers whose electricity is delivered through more than one meter, service for each meter shall be computed separately under this rate unless conditions in accordance with the Company's Schedule #4 (Totalized Metering of Multiple Service Entrance Sections At a Single Premise for Standard Offer and Direct Access Service) are met.

  • If ESP specifies in any Direct Access Service Request any metering option that has not been checked above, the DASR will be rejected.
