Element means any electrical device with terminals that may be connected to other electrical devices such as a generator, transformer, circuit breaker, bus section, or transmission line. An Element may be comprised of one or more components.**
Isolation means a behavior management technique in which a student is placed alone in an enclosed space from which the student is not prevented from leaving.

The Results shall become the exclusive property of Purchaser as and when they are created or developed.
Orientation means any introductory instruction into a new practice environment or employment situation where being a nurse is a requirement of employment or where the individual uses any title or abbreviation indicating that the individual is a nurse. Orientation is considered the practice of nursing in this State.
Compilation means providing a service to be performed in accordance with statements on standards for accounting and review services that are presenting, in the form of financial statements, information that is the representation of management or owners without undertaking to express any assurance on the statements.
Serialization within the part, lot, or batch number means each item of a particular part, lot, or batch number is assigned a unique serial number within that part, lot, or batch number assignment. The enterprise is responsible for ensuring unique serialization within the part, lot, or batch number within the enterprise identifier.
Functional impairment means both of the following:
Pattern means two or more acts occurring over a period of time, however short, evidencing a continuity of purpose.
Independent Verification means that an evaluation is undertaken and reported by an individual or body whose organisation, systems and procedures conform to ISO Guide 65:1996 (EN 45011:1998) General requirements for bodies operating product certification systems (as amended form time to time) or equivalent, and who is accredited to audit against forest management standards by a body whose organisation, systems and procedures conform to ISO 17011: 2004 General Requirements for Providing Assessment and Accreditation of Conformity Assessment Bodies (as amended from time to time) or equivalent.
Prosthesis means an artificial substitute for a missing body part.
Evaluation means an appraisal of an individual’s professional performance in relation to his or her job description and professional standards and based on, when applicable, the individual’s evaluation rubric.
Format C: Format for the Bidder (Single Firm / Partner(s) in case of Joint Venture) for technical experience in compliance to para 1.01 (III) {(i) or (ii) or (iii)} of Annexure-A to BDS (Volume-I : Section-III) [In case of Joint Venture bidder, the QR data of each of the partner (in support of meeting the requirement of para 1.01 (III) (iv) of Annexure-A to BDS (Volume-I : Section-III)] is also is to furnished, as applicable, using this format. Site preparation means those activities associated with the removal of slash in preparing a site for planting and shall include scarification and/or slash burning.
Visual impairment including blindness means an impairment in vision that, even with correction, adversely affects a student's educational performance. The term includes both partial sight and blindness.
Casket means a rigid container which is designed for the encasement of human remains and which is usually constructed of wood, metal, fiberglass, plastic, or like material and ornamented and lined with fabric.
Instantaneous for monitoring requirements, means a single reading, observation, or measurement. If more than one sample is taken during any calendar day, each result obtained shall be considered.
Fluoroscopic imaging assembly means a subsystem in which X-ray photons produce a visual image. It includes the image receptor(s) such as the image intensifier and spot-film device, electrical interlocks, if any, and structural material providing linkage between the image receptor and diagnostic source assembly.
Fluoroscopy means a technique for generating x-ray images and presenting them simultaneously and continuously as visible images. This term has the same meaning as the term "radioscopy" in the standards of the International Electrotechnical Commission.

Functional behavioral assessment means an individualized assessment of the student that results in a team hypothesis about the function of a student’s behavior and, as appropriate, recommendations for a behavior intervention plan.
Substantial Change means a change to the terms of this Agreement that reduces your rights or increases your responsibilities.
Thesis means a work involving personal research, that is (a) capable of being recorded in any form or medium, and (b) capable of being evaluated, that is submitted for a doctoral degree and satisfies the requirements specified in the relevant rules.
