Digital Voice definition

Digital Voice is a digital communications Service where voice communication is converted to IP technology and commonly referred to as Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP). Digital Voice Service is subject to network availability at the Service address, network latency, overheads, splices, power outages and network or Customer premise equipment conditions in addition to other possible factors. Digital Voice Services are only available with a Broadband Internet Service from Utility. Digital Voice cannot be purchased separately from a Broadband Internet Service.

  • The Service and certain other Fios services, such as Fios Digital Voice and Fios TV VOD service, share bandwidth on the fiber-optic connection to your home.
