Dielectric Medium definition
Dielectric Medium means the use of a material that does not conduct electricity but can sustain an electric field, with electrical conductivity of less than a millionth (10-6) of a siemens.
Dielectric material means a material that does not conduct direct electrical current. Dielectric coatings are used to electrically isolate UST systems from the surrounding soils. Dielectric bushings are used to electrically isolate portions of the UST system (e.g., tank from piping).
Fluid means any material or substance which flows or moves whether in a semisolid, liquid, sludge, gas, or any other form or state;
Chemical agent shall mean any compound which, when suitably disseminated, produces incapacitating, damaging or lethal effects on people, animals, plants or material property.
Encapsulation means the application of an encapsulant.
PCBs means polychlorinated biphenyls.
