Diary system definition

Diary system means Arbitron’s long-standing methodology of collecting journals written by panelists of their daily radio listening habits and utilizing them to create ratings based on an estimate of the number of listeners of radio broadcasts.
Diary system. LWP’s claim diary system has some built-in diary functions that add levels of safeguard to the claims management process. Those features include: Electronic Claim File/Mail Management: All mail is scanned and electronically date stamped on the date it is received. The mail is indexed and distributed to the Examiner by the next morning. All mail is flagged as “new” when it arrives in the examiner’s mailbox. The claims handler acts on the mail by the date benefits are due, or within five business days from the date the mail was originally received by the office, whichever comes first. The document management system has an audit function that allows managers to know where a document has been at all times. There can be no lost mail! Authority Safeguards: We have several built-in safeguards against errors. First, we have built in authority levels set by Examiner that prevent a reserve from being posted without proper authority. The examiner enters their detailed reserve recommendation in our Reserve Worksheet screen. If the examiner has sufficient system authority, the reserve will post. In cases where the recommendation exceeds the authority level, the claim system will automatically set a diary to the supervisor, manager, or Vice President, depending on the value of the recommended reserve. If approved, the reserve will post. If denied, the worksheet will be automatically returned to the Examiner for revision. kong@cira-jpa.org rcardenas@cityofmenifee.us vhayek@conejousd.org Whitney.gerst@vgm.com
