Diagnostic test means any test or investigation modality which is Medically Necessary to positively Diagnose a Covered Cancer, including but not limited to laboratory tests, X-rays, computerized tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), fine needle aspiration for cytology or histopathology, or excisional biopsy for histopathology. Genetic testing to aid the identification of appropriate chemotherapy drugs is also included.
