DFX definition

DFX or “DFX Fibre” means unmonitored, unlit, point to point optical fibre including the BT Equipment placed by BT at a Site to provide the Service as detailed in Schedule 2 Appendix 1;
DFX shall refer to any combination of DFC, DFM, DFT or DFQ, if any, provided by Manufacturer relative to any Product(s) in connection with volume production. “DFC” shall refer to any Design For Component services including component change proposals provided by Manufacturer relative to any Product(s). “DFM” shall refer to any Design For Manufacturability services including design changes proposals for manufacturability provided by Manufacturer relative to any Product(s). “DFT” shall refer to any Design For Testability services including proposed design changes for testability provided by Manufacturer relative to any Product(s). “DFQ” shall refer to any Design for Quality services including proposed design changes for testability provided by Manufacturer relative to any Product(s).
DFX shall refer to any combination of DFC (design for component), DFM (design for manufacturability), DFT (design for testing) or DFQ (design for quality) services and related change proposals, if any, provided by Benchmark relative to any Product(s) in connection with volume production.

Examples of DFX in a sentence

  • If BT fails to meet the CCD then the Communications Provider shall be entitled to 100% of the relevant individual DFX Service monthly rental for every Working Day or part Working Day beyond the CCD up to a maximum of 60 Working Days.

  • The compensation shall be 15% of one months relevant individual DFX Service monthly rental for each Qualifying Fault that has not been restored within 18 clock hours after it has been reported to BT, and for each full hour in excess of 18 clock hours until the fault is rectified, up to a maximum of 200 hours.

  • BT may provide a CCD for the DFX Service of less than 30 Working Days.

  • It is understood that Company’s DFX guidelines will be used for Products made by all of Company’s electronic manufacturing service providers.

  • The “as-built” plans shall be prepared on an AutoCAD Computer Assisted Drafting and Design System (or such other system or medium as Landlord may accept), using naming conventions issued by the American Institute of Architects in June, 1990 (or such other naming conventions as Landlord may accept) and computer media of such record drawings and specifications translated in DFX format or another format acceptable to Landlord.

  • Thereafter, if Customer requests specific DFX requirements, BreconRidge will provide Customer with a description and quotation for such services and upon acceptance of such quotation will perform such services.

  • If there is an inconsistency between the DFX Agreement and the Terms of Business, the terms of the Terms of Business will prevail.

  • Thereafter, if Customer requests specific DFX requirements, Flextronics will provide Customer with a description and quotation for such services and upon acceptance of such quotation will perform such services.

  • It is important that you familiarise yourself with all applicable Terms before you place a DFX Order.

  • Solectron will provide design support services with world class expertise in DFX, and other design/value engineering services.
