Device Key definition

Device Key means a cryptographic value used to decrypt portions of a Media Key Block in order to calculate a Media Key, as defined by the technical specifications contained in “AACS Introduction and Common Cryptographic Elements,” published by AACS LA.
Device Key means a cryptographic value provided to a Fellow Adopter by Licensor or its designee for use in a Licensed Product or Licensed Component.
Device Key means an associated pair of Cryptographically Random keys generated by Company for each of its Licensed Products, consisting of a “Device Public Key” and a “Device Private Key”.

  • Without limiting the foregoing, where costs per Device Key or per Fellow Adopter decrease, DTLA shall use commercially reasonable efforts to reduce the Per Certificate Fee or Annual Administration Fee, respectively.

  • Adopter shall not first activate the DTCP functions of a unit or copy of a Licensed Product that uses a Common Device Key more than eight (8) years after the particular version or model of such Licensed Product first was distributed, provided that a unit or copy of a particular version or model of such Licensed Product for which the DTCP functions were first activated during such eight-year period may be reactivated via an Update as permitted under Section 2.2(i)(y) of the Procedural Appendix.

  • These are generated under the direction of DTLA and, except in the case that Adopter elects to use a Common Device Certificate and Common Device Key for certain devices as described in the Procedural Appendix and Compliance Rules, are generated uniquely per device.

  • Without limiting any other provision of this Agreement, Adopter may not use the same Device Key or Device Certificate in more than one individual unit or copy of any product or component except for the use of Common Device Keys and Common Device Certificates in accordance with Section 2.2 of the Procedural Appendix.

  • If either Licensor or senior officials of Founders that have responsibility for Licensor’s activities or DTCP have knowledge of facts or other information relating to any particular Device Certificate or Device Key that would satisfy one or more of the Revocation Criteria (defined in Section 6.4(b)), Licensor shall, consistent with the necessity to maintain the confidentiality of such facts or other information, inform Content Participant of such facts or other information.

  • Adopter shall implement Proactive Renewal for all Licensed Products containing Shared Device Key Sets.

  • These are generated under the direction of DTLA and, except in the case that Adopter elects to use a Common DTCP2 Device Certificate and Common DTCP2 Device Key for certain devices as described in the Procedural Appendix and Compliance Rules, are generated uniquely per device.

  • Without limiting any other provision of this Agreement, Adopter may not use the same DTCP2 Device Key or DTCP2 Device Certificate in more than one individual unit or copy of any product or component except for the use of Common DTCP2 Device Keys and Common DTCP2 Device Certificates in accordance with Section 2.2 of the Procedural Appendix.

  • Licensor shall have no obligation to deliver, and Adopter shall have no right to receive, the applicable Device Key Sets until Adopter pays in full all amounts set out in such invoice, and all applicable Annual Fees.
