Developmental Therapy definition

Developmental Therapy means therapy designed to further growth or bring about improvement by gradual training adapted to the Covered Person’s physical and mental development.

Examples of Developmental Therapy in a sentence

  • EBPs or PPs may include, but are not limited to, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Dyadic Developmental Therapy (DDT), and Positive Parenting Program (Triple P).

  • If your child receives Developmental Therapy or Habilitative Support the therapist has a time-sheet (called a “CSR”) that needs to be signed by you daily.

  • Developmental Therapy, IBI, Habilitative Support and Habilitative Intervention are home, community, and/or center based.
