Developmental Research definition

Developmental Research means that portion of the Preclinical Program for Monoclonal Products and SM Products conducted hereunder to determine the potential efficacy, safety and toxicity of promising Small Molecules and Monoclonal Antibodies, through studies in animal models, and other research by the Party or Parties to evaluate the suitability of such Small Molecules and Monoclonal Antibodies for Clinical Trials. Developmental Research hereunder shall begin at the point in time when the lead Monoclonal Antibodies and/or Small Molecules are to be chosen for such evaluation and the JPT is formed hereunder.

Examples of Developmental Research in a sentence

  • A faculty member employed at the P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School may be granted five (5) days (non-cumulative) of leave per year for emergencies or for other personal reasons.

  • Yonge Developmental Research School faculty members shall consist of a reduction in teaching load of one (1) class per day during a semester for secondary school teachers, or its equivalent for other teachers.

  • Yonge Developmental Research School is assigned to teach more than three separate, unrelated academic classroom subjects or more than one academic subject during a class period.

  • Yonge Developmental Research School shall be effective at the beginning of the school year.

  • Yonge Developmental Research School or designee and representative(s) shall meet with the UFF representatives to discuss matters pertinent to the implementation or administration of this Agreement, administrative actions affecting terms and conditions of employment unique to the DRS, or any other mutually agreeable matters.

  • Academic freedom and responsibility are essential to the full development of a true Developmental Research School and apply to teaching, research/creative activities, and assigned service.

  • Yonge Developmental Research School (hereafter “DRS”) faculty members shall consist of a reduction in teaching load of one class per day during a semester for secondary school teachers, or its equivalent in time for elementary and middle school teachers and other professional faculty members.

  • A faculty member of the P.K. Yonge Developmental Research School in a permanent-status-earning rank must be nominated for permanent status during the faculty member’s third year of continuous service, or equivalent in part-time service.

  • Yonge Developmental Research School may be granted five (5) days (non-cumulative) of leave per year for emergencies or for other personal reasons.

  • Yonge Developmental Research School faculty member, and a faculty member appointed for less than nine (9) months shall not accrue vacation leave.

  • Research means a methodical investigation into a subject.

  • scientific research means any activity in the field of natural or applied science for the extension of knowledge;

  • Development means the division of a parcel of land into two or more parcels, the construction, reconstruction, conversion, structural alteration, relocation or enlarge- enlargement of any building or structure, any mining excavation or landfill, and any use or change in the use of any building or other structure, or land or extension of use of land, for which permission is required under the Municipal Land Use Law, N.J.S.A. 40:55D-1 et seq.

  • Research Use shall have the meaning given in Section 2.2.2 of this Agreement.
