Deteriorate means to fall below the condition of good repair.
Deteriorate means any building, structure, or premise that is in violation of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings or any applicable nuisance code. Specifically, deteriorate refers to a condition within or upon any building, structure, or premise where there is inadequate maintenance, blight, deterioration, dilapidation, decay, damage, faulty construction or arrangement, chemical residues, inadequate light, air, or sanitation facilities, or otherwise, as determined by the health department, building official, fire marshal, or a code enforcement official so much so that the condition renders the building, structure, or premise to be unsafe for human habitation, use, or occupancy.
