Destitute definition

Destitute means a disabled person permanently incapacitated, otherwise than in the performance of public duty, and cannot earn his livelihood and includes a widow or a minor orphan whose monthly income does not exceed such limit as may be prescribed;
Destitute means that the household's only income for the month of application was received prior to the date of application and the income was from a source which has been terminated; or the household's only income for the month of application is from a new source of income of more than $25.00 will not be received by the 10th day after the date of application.
Destitute means extremely poor individuals or family who lack the means to provide for themselves.
