Destination Station definition

Destination Station has the meaning given to it in paragraph 2(b) of Appendix 2 (Alternative Transport) to Schedule 4 (Persons with Disabilities and Disability Discrimination);

• After completion of the reverse e-auction the purchase order would be placed in the normal mode after taking appropriate approval by concerned purchase officer either on F O R VSP Stores (or) F O R Destination Station (or) F O R Despatch Station (or) Ex-Works basis, considering the freight charges which is advantageous to RINL / VSP, as the case may be.

• If Tenderers do not specify in their tender whether their offer is F.O.R. Station of despatch or Free delivery receiving station in India, it will be assumed that their offer is for F.O.R. Destination Station.

• The checking shall be carried out in the presence of firm s representative at Destination Station and in case the firm’s representative does not happen to be present at destination on the specified date & time so fixed, then PSTCL shall be at liberty to do joint verification in his absence.

• Tenders received on Destination Station / Station of Dispatch basis rates shall be summarily rejected.

• The supplier shall have to make arrangements for the dispatch of all oversize dimensional consignments to purchaser’s site and shall be responsible for taking permission, if necessary, from the concerned authorities for the movement of such oversize consignments from the Station of Despatch to Destination Station.

• The return journey is a purchase of tickets for one route, where the journeys have opposite directions (the Departure Station of the first ticket is the same as the Destination Station of the second ticket and Destination station of the first ticket is the same one as Departure Station of the second ticket).
