Designed landscape definition

Designed landscape means a historic landscape for which a conscious, aesthetics-driven design effort was pursued. The Gray Craig Estate, north of Nelson’s Pond, is a local example of a designed landscape.

  • Landscape means an area, as perceived by people, whose character is the result of the action and interaction of natural and/or human factors;
