Designate is an individual authorized to act on behalf of an officer of the University, or an individual named to represent an Employee, group of Employees or the Union.
Designating Party has the meaning set forth in Section 12.22.3.
Designated means designated as a public service agency under the FLSA.
Designation means the request for extension of protection (“territorial extension”) under Article 3ter(1) or (2) of the Agreement or under Article 3ter(1) or (2) of the Protocol, as the case may be; it also means such extension as recorded in the International Register;
Type designation means a combination of letters and numerals assigned by the Government to a major end item, assembly or subassembly, as appropriate, to provide a convenient means of differentiating between items having the same basic name and to indicate modifications and changes thereto.
Designation Notice means a notice from any Lender or an Affiliate of a Lender substantially in the form of Exhibit I.
Regular general election means the election held throughout the state on the first
Beneficiary means the person, persons, trust or trusts that have been designated by a Participant in his or her most recent written beneficiary designation filed with the Committee to receive the benefits specified under the Plan upon such Participant’s death or to which Awards or other rights are transferred if and to the extent permitted under Section 10(b) hereof. If, upon a Participant’s death, there is no designated Beneficiary or surviving designated Beneficiary, then the term Beneficiary means the person, persons, trust or trusts entitled by will or the laws of descent and distribution to receive such benefits.
Designation Letter means, with respect to any Designated Subsidiary, a letter in the form of Exhibit E hereto signed by such Designated Subsidiary and the Company.
Designation Date has the meaning set forth in Section 6.14.
Notice of Account Designation has the meaning assigned thereto in Section 2.3(b).
Designated agency means any agency designated by the Air Resources Board as having authority to issue agricultural burning, including prescribed burning, permits. An air district may request such a designation for an agency. The U.S. Department of Agricultural (USDA) Forest Service and the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CDF) are so designated within their respective areas of jurisdiction.
Redesignation has the meaning given to such term in Section 4.19. “refinance” means to refinance, repay, prepay, replace, renew or refund.
Subsidiary Redesignation shall have the meaning provided in the definition of “Unrestricted Subsidiary” contained in this Section 1.01.
Establishment means any place of operations where the debtor carries out a non-transitory economic activity with human means and goods.
Account Designation Letter means the Notice of Account Designation Letter dated the Closing Date from the Borrower to the Administrative Agent substantially in the form attached hereto as Schedule 1.1(a).
Beneficiary Designation Form means the form established from time to time by the Plan Administrator that the Executive completes, signs, and returns to the Plan Administrator to designate one or more Beneficiaries.
Beneficiary(ies means the beneficiary(ies) designated by the Participant who are entitled to receive any distributions from the Plan payable upon the death of the Participant.
Converting organization means an organization that converts into another organization pursuant to section 489.1006.
Voluntary Resignation means any termination of employment that is not involuntary and that is not the result of the employee's death, disability, early retirement or retirement.
Designation Agreement means, with respect to any Designated Subsidiary, an agreement in the form of Exhibit E hereto signed by such Designated Subsidiary and the Company.
Designated Bank Account means the relevant bank account designated by each Holder;
Nonprofit organization means a university or other institution of higher education or an organization of the type described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (26 U.S.C. 501(c) and exempt from taxation under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code (25 U.S.C. 501(a)) or any nonprofit scientific or educational organization qualified under a state nonprofit organization statute.
Non-bank fiduciary or agent means a fiduciary or agent other than (a) a bank, as defined in Section 3(a)(2) of the Securities Act, or (b) a savings and loan association, as defined in Section 3(a)(5)(A) of the Securities Act.
primary beneficiary means the individual for whose primary benefit the trust is then held. For purposes of Section 8.3, a Qualified Entity is a member of each Family Group to which such one or more Qualified Trusts that are its equity holders belong.
Primary Residence means an Insured’s fixed, permanent and main home for legal and tax purposes.
