Designated rates definition
Designated rates shall be as follows:
(1) The designated rate of time and one-half shall apply for the following days observed as legal holidays: New Year’s Day, January 1 Washington’s Birthday, Third Monday in February Memorial Day, last Monday in May Independence Day, July 4 Labor Day, First Monday in September Veteran’s Day, November 11 Thanksgiving Day, Fourth Thursday in November Christmas Day, December 25
(2) The designated rate of straight time shall apply for the following days observed as legal holidays: Town Meeting Day, First Tuesday in March Bennington Battle Day, August 16
(3) The designated rate of straight time compensatory time off shall apply for the following day: ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇.’s Birthday, third Monday in January.
(4) Notwithstanding any contrary provision of this Section, for employees in Overtime Categories 15, 16, and 17 the “designated rate” of straight time pay shall apply on all days observed as legal holidays.
