The Contractor shall provide attendance on Designated Contractors in accordance with the Employer's Requirements and as instructed by the Engineer.
The Contractor shall provide within the Site, staging, storage and unloading areas for the use of Designated Contractors, if any, who are undertaking track work, fare collection system, supply, testing and commissioning of Rolling Stock, escalators, lifts, signaling and telecommunications and traction power installation works, etc.
The Contractor shall in accordance with the requirements of the Engineer co-ordinate his own Works with that of Designated Contractors through Co-ordinated Installation Programme (CIP) stated in the Employer's Requirements, or as the Engineer may require, and shall afford the Designated Contractors all reasonable opportunities for carrying out their works.
It shall be the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure that the full extent of the Works under the Contract and the works to be carried out by Designated Contractors within the Works or, in, on, under, through and over the Site are co-ordinated and integrated in their design, manufacture, installation and construction.
Acts or omissions of other Designated Contractors in executing work not forming part of this Contract and on whose performance, the performance of the Contractor necessarily depends.
Indemnity 14.1 The Contractor shall indemnify and hold harmless the Employer, the Engineer, the Designated Contractors, representatives and employees from and against all actions, sits, proceedings, claims, damages, losses, expenses and demands of every nature and description, by reasons of any act or omissions of the Contractor, his representative or his employees in the execution of the Works, including professional services provided by the Contractor or in the guarding the same.
The network must be fully resourced and show the co-ordination with Designated Contractors.
Sponsor agrees to use such Designated Contractors when requested.
It will be stated in the Exhibitors’ Manual when it is compulsory for the Exhibitor to use one of the Official Designated Contractors and when the Exhibitor may choose their own contractor.
The Contractor shall ensure that the information contained in the submissions has been coordinated with the overall requirements of the Works and the works of the Designated Contractors.
