Design Build Contract (DBC) definition
Design Build Contract (DBC) means a single contract agreement between the City and a DBF in which the DBF agrees to both design and construct a facility-work type improvement project including but not limited to buildings, facilities, roadway, roadway lighting, drainage, traffic signals, intersection improvements, sidewalks, pavement marking and signalization, bridges, culverts, pedestrian walkways, retaining walls, riverfront bulkheads, town centers, landscape and irrigation, parks, pocket parks, playgrounds, baseball and soccer fields, restroom facilities, community centers, maintenance buildings, concession stands, parking areas, park lighting, and other items as specified in the DCP and in Contract Documents for a specific project.
Design Build Contract (DBC) means a single contract agreement between the City and Design-Builder in which the Design-Builder agrees to both design and construct a facility- work type improvement project, including but not limited to commercial vertical building, lighting, drainage, sidewalks, pavement, striping, pedestrian walkways, landscape, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, fire protection, fire alarm, telecommunication work and other items as specified in the DCP and in Contract Documents for this specific project.
