Derogatory material for purposes of this section means any material making adverse reference to an employee’s competence, character, or manner.

Examples of Derogatory material in a sentence

  • Derogatory material does not include prior suspensions, demotions or dismissals for cause.

  • Derogatory material placed in the official personnel file shall be signed and dated by the individual responsible, and, signed and dated by the employee on the date reviewed, or, in accordance with Section 18.3, above.

  • Derogatory material shall be brought to the attention of an employee before being entered into the Employer’s records.

  • Derogatory material pertaining to attendance problems may be used to support discipline only if the discipline was primarily imposed for an incident involving attendance problems.

  • Derogatory material placed in a bargaining unit member’s personnel file may be sealed and removed upon the request of the bargaining unit member when such material is more than two (2) years old.

  • Derogatory material placed in a unit member's file shall be given to the unit member and an opportunity afforded for the unit member to review, initial and date the material and to prepare a written response to the complaint or commendation, which will be attached as part of the official record.

  • Notification required and rebuttal allowed proper receipt procedure – Annual clearing of derogatory materials: Derogatory material must be shown to a certificated employee within ten (10) days after receipt or composition (if originating within the District office), and must be certified as seen via a dated employee signature or documented as to the employee’s refusal to sign.

  • Licensed Information means any information concerning the Licensed Program, which is owned by the Licensor and is licensed to the Licensee together with the Licensed Program. Licensed Information includes such information as input form, user manual, interface format and input/output format and is delivered to and used by the Licensee as confidential information or proprietary property of the Licensor.

  • Publicity Material means the promotional gifts, catalogues, pamphlets and all and any advertising and publicity material whatsoever which an Exhibitor wishes to display, distribute or use at the Exhibition.

  • Regulatory Materials means regulatory applications, submissions, notifications, communications, correspondence, registrations, Regulatory Approvals or other filings made to, received from or otherwise conducted with a Regulatory Authority in order to Develop, Manufacture, or Commercialize a Licensed Product in a particular country or jurisdiction.

  • Controlled technical information means technical information with military or space application that is subject to controls on the access, use, reproduction, modification, performance, display, release, disclosure, or dissemination. Controlled technical information would meet the criteria, if disseminated, for distribution statements B through F using the criteria set forth in DoD Instruction 5230.24, Distribution Statements on Technical Documents. The term does not include information that is lawfully publicly available without restrictions.

  • Promotional Material means all material used in the promotion of, or otherwise in connection with, the Business (whether written or recorded in any other medium) and includes artwork, advertising materials (irrespective of the medium in which they are recorded), display materials, packaging materials, brochures, posters and internal and external signage.
