Derated Hours definition

Derated Hours means the number of hours, exclusive of Outage Hours, during which the Facility is not capable of operating at 100% of its Dependable Capacity, or, if only one Unit is available during Major Overhaul Hours, such Unit is not capable of operating at 100% of the Unit Dependable Capacity. Economy Shutdown Hours will be deemed to be Derated Hours only if PREPA shuts down the Facility (or a Unit) and the Facility (or, if applicable, the Unit) is not capable of operating at 100% of the Dependable Capacity (or, if applicable, the Unit Dependable Capacity).

Examples of Derated Hours in a sentence

  • Equivalent Unplanned Derated Hours (EUDH): An Unplanned Deration (Forced Deration) occurs when the PV System experiences a Deration that requires a reduction in availability before the end of the nearest following weekend.

  • Equivalent Planned Derated Hours (EPDH) includes Planned Derations (PD) and Maintenance Derations (D4).

  • For Derations by Company pursuant to Section Equivalent Planned Derated Hours (EPDH) includes Planned Derations (PD) and Maintenance Derations (D4).

  • Forced Derated Hours (FDH) Sum of all On-Peak Hours during which there is a Forced Derating in the Summer Period.

  • Equivalent Seller-Attributable Derated Hours (ESADH): A Seller-Attributable Derating occurs when there is an Inverter System Derating, due to Seller-Attributable Non-Generation or deratings by Company pursuant to Section 8.3 (Company Rights of Dispatch).
