Derail definition

Derail means a rail track device that will cause a moving rail vehicle to leave the track (derail) and stop the movement to prevent continuing an unauthorized movement of the rail vehicle;
Derail means a safety device

Examples of Derail in a sentence

  • Installation or replacement of Derail Device(s) on the Railroad Track Portion shall be accomplished by Railroad at Industry expense.

  • Industry shall cooperate at all times with Railroad personnel regarding inspecting, repairing, replacing and installing Derail Device(s) on the Track.
